You might not have got the decorations out yet but we all know it’s inevitable. Christmas is on its way. Whatever that means for you- whether it’s days of slaving away in the kitchen, back to back parties, or curling up on the sofa in front of the fire- we’re on a mission to make sure this year you're doing it looking and feeling your best.

Skin Peels
Chemical skin peels are an incredible tool when it comes to achieving the bright, clear complexion that dreams are made of. A highly customisable treatment, peels can effectively address a range of problems, including pigmentation, redness, signs of aging and acne. The range of Elevate Signature Peels are perfectly formulated to target your skin concerns and achieve optimal results.
Good to know: Some healing time is needed post-peel, during which time exposure to the sun, sunbeds, saunas and jacuzzis should be avoided, so factor in a minimum of 2 weeks after a peel before planning any pre-Christmas sunbed top ups.
Lumecca
AKA the ‘Snapchat Filter Treatment’ (here’s the Book Now link if you’ve already heard enough). Using state-of-the-art IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology, Lumecca targets and reduces pigmentation, rosacea, age spots and spider veins, while brightening and rejuvenating the complexion. It also stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and create an even, radiant skin tone. Results can last for many years, and in some cases can be lifelong, making it one of our (and our clients!) favourite treatment options.
Good to know: Depending on the concern and area being targeted, we may recommend a course of up to 4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart- but in many cases good results can be seen after just one session. No downtime is needed after a session, so you can go straight from the clinic to your Christmas party if needed!
Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate and improve the overall quality of your skin. They’re our hero treatment when it comes to taking skin care to the next level- quickly and effectively delivering actives to where they need to be (the dermis), to create unbeatable hydration, and a lasting glow. With Profhilo (our skin booster of choice at Elevate), results can be seen after just one treatment, but a course of two will achieve optimal results. Minimal downtime is needed, but there may be some redness immediately post treatment, so add in a few days of buffer time before any big events.
Good to know: Don’t confuse skin boosters with filler! Although they’re both injectable treatments, skin boosters are all about creating hydration, glow and improving texture- whereas filler is focused on restoring volume and structure.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a great treatment for improving overall skin tone and texture, as well as targeting more specific concerns such as scarring, stretch marks and fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment uses multiple tiny needles of varying width and length to create controlled microtrauma to the skin, stimulating the skin’s natural healing response to produce collagen and elastin, and allow the skin to remodel. Results can be seen after just one treatment, but we often recommend a course to achieve the best outcomes.
Good to know: Like with skin peels, skin can be sensitive following treatment, so avoid sunbeds for a minimum of 48 hours (ideally longer) following your session. There may also be some redness, so one to pre-plan around your social calendar.
Skincare
We might be about to get a bit preachy here, but it comes from a good place so bear with us.
Good skincare is the foundation that all other treatments should be built on.
But it can be so hard to get it right.
The huge range of products on the market tends to send people in one of two directions- a complete disconnection from the brilliant options that are out there (resulting in an old tin of Nivea in the cupboard that serves as day cream, night cream, body lotion…) or bathrooms packed with so many products that you never use anything consistently, targeted use gives way to grabbing a random bottle, and active ingredients are left to become old and ineffective.
So if the goal is perfect skin, let us make sure your skincare is helping you get there.
